Terms of Purchase

Silvanass Terms of Purchase

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These terms explain how Silvanass purchases and bespoke commissions are handled. Please review the product description, price, delivery information and any written quotation before placing an order.

1. Products and bespoke commissions

Silvanass offers bridalwear, bespoke occasionwear, Mother of the Bride or Groom designs, bridesmaid dresses and selected ready-to-wear garments. Photographs illustrate designs and craftsmanship. Colours may vary slightly due to lighting, screens and fabric characteristics.

For bespoke orders, the design, fabrics, embellishments, measurements, price, payment schedule and estimated completion date will be agreed in writing before production begins. An enquiry or consultation request is not itself a confirmed purchase.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges and any other unavoidable costs will be disclosed before you commit to purchase. The blush-pink silk chiffon Mother of the Bride gown is offered at £1,500 for the design as described; requested changes or additional work may affect the final price and will be agreed in advance.

Any deposit, staged payment, balance due date and payment method for a bespoke commission will be set out in the written quotation or order confirmation. Cancellation and deposit arrangements will be handled in accordance with the agreed terms and applicable law.

3. Advance ordering and lead times

Wedding dresses require a minimum of 6 months' advance notice before the wedding date. Other bespoke or made-to-measure garments, including Mother of the Bride or Groom gowns and bridesmaid dresses, require a minimum of 1 month's advance notice before the event.

These are minimum lead times, not a guarantee of completion by a particular date. Orders depend on design approval, fabric and material availability, fitting requirements and production capacity. Shorter lead times may be considered only if our schedule allows and must be agreed in writing before purchase. Customers should provide their event date when enquiring.

4. Measurements and customer approvals

Customers ordering remotely must provide accurate measurements and information requested for the garment. We may request confirmation, further measurements or a fitting before production. Please check the agreed design, fabric, colour, measurements and event date carefully. Changes after materials have been ordered or production has started may affect price and completion date and must be agreed before proceeding.

5. Cancellations, returns and refunds

The usual 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not generally apply to goods made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised. This may include a garment individually made to your measurements. We will explain where this exception applies before you commit to the order.

This exception does not remove your statutory rights if a garment is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the contract.

For standard, non-personalised goods bought online, statutory cancellation rights may apply. Where they apply, customers generally have 14 days from the day after receiving the goods to notify us of cancellation, followed by 14 days to return them, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Delivery and collection

Delivery methods, charges and estimated dispatch or completion dates will be shown at checkout or agreed in writing for bespoke orders. Bespoke completion dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. If a garment is required for a wedding or special event, please tell us before ordering and obtain written confirmation of the expected timescale.

Please provide an accurate delivery address. We will contact you if we become aware of a significant delay. Responsibility for goods passes in accordance with applicable consumer law.

7. Fit, care and alterations

Please follow the care instructions supplied with your garment. Fit may be affected by inaccurate measurements, changes in body measurements, footwear, undergarments or changes requested after approval. If you have concerns about fit or workmanship, contact us promptly so we can review the agreed specifications and your applicable rights.

8. Consultations and quotations

Consultations allow us to discuss your design, measurements, budget and event date. Unless expressly stated otherwise, an enquiry does not create an obligation to purchase. Written quotations will identify the agreed design, price, what is included and any applicable payment milestones.

9. Order confirmation and availability

Products and materials are subject to availability. For made-to-measure work, an order is confirmed when the specifications, price and applicable payment arrangements have been agreed in writing. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will contact you and arrange any refund legally due.

10. Consumer rights and contact

Silvanass does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. These terms do not affect your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

For questions about an order, measurements, delivery, cancellation or returns, please use the contact details or bespoke enquiry form on silvanass.co.uk and include your order reference where available.

These terms are a practical starting point and should be checked against your actual business arrangements and applicable UK law before relying on them.
